Share Your Coffs Harbour Holiday with Your Pet

Pet friendly we are . We understand that for many of our guests, pets are part of the family and can’t simply be left behind. At Friday Creek Retreat we want you to enjoy your holiday with those you hold most dear.  So dogs, cats and most other furry friends are welcome here.

All pets must be advised of and pre-approved  by management . A pet policy must be signed before arrival .

There is a cover charge of $40 per booking for pets .

We are happy to accept up to 2 small/medium dogs, but 2 large dogs are not permitted. Check in with us regarding the breed/age/weight of your dog for confirmation that your pet fits within our pet policy.

We offer nine distinctive, well-equipped and comfortable cottages. If your pets live inside with you at home, they are welcome to stay inside the cottage too, but not permitted on any furniture.  Please bring your own pet food, bedding, bowls and a lead.

• All owners will pay – prior to arrival – a fully refundable security bond of $100 directly into our account . This will be refunded as soon as cleaning is completed .

• If any pet hair , urine or damage is found on furniture or linen the bond will be forfeited in full.

You are also welcome to roam our 100-acre property with your pets. As we share the property with a wealth of native wildlife, pets must be leashed when on the grounds. Pets are never to be left unattended at any time, either in the cottage or anywhere else on the property. We can recommend pet-sitting facilities to enable you to leave your pets in a safe comfortable environment whilst you explore some tourist options.

If you and your pet want to explore further afield there are plenty of pet-friendly reserves and beaches close to Coffs Harbour. The nearest off leash beach is North Wall Beach in Marina Drive, opposite the Coffs Harbour Yacht Club.

Also, a dog-friendly favourite that you won’t want to miss is, Maggie’s Dog Cafe and Salon at Moonee Marketplace.  Maggie’s is the only indoor dog cafe in the country.  Its a lovely place to sit back and relax with a cup of coffee and something to eat (vegetarian options too) for you and your dog. Your best furry friend will feel right at home.  With a dog menu full of delicious drinks and treats, lead-free play area, in-house dog grooming salon and shop with essentials and more.  Maggie’s also offers doggy daycare, making it a convenient place to drop off your dog in a comfortable air conditioned space, while you are off seeing all the sights Coffs Harbour has to offer.
