Ongoing refurbishments are slowly happening and being completed here at Friday Creek Retreat.
We now have a full size windmill alongside our lake – fully refurbished and with signage, and it makes a great additional to the fabulous view from our pool deck.
All the lighting in the pool deck area is now also complete – and it is absolutely stunning at night!
Garden beds in front of all cottages are now also completed and planted out – just waiting for the plants to grow now!
What a fabulous winter we have had here at Friday Creek. Beautiful warm days and cool nights for guests to enjoy cuddling up in front of the open fireplaces. We have certainly been spoilt this winter, with such warm sunny days, but we are now longing for some rain to green things up again.
We have only the rest of September to enjoy the open fireplaces, cuddly robes, warm throws and electric blankets.
Come 1 October we switch into summer mode and replace the cuddly robes with lovely crisp waffle weave summer robes, hibernate the fireplaces until next winter and enjoy the sunshine on the decks and the swimming pool.
If you have been thinking about coming to Friday Creek for the open fireplaces – only 3 weeks left to enjoy the warm open fires and toast the marshmallows we provide! Of course spa baths are in every 1 bedroom cottage, and are used all year round, but the open fireplaces are a real drawcard during the winter months, as so few accommodation places still offer them.
